Definition: The term tits refers to the top section of a woman's torso.
All kinds of tits contain mammary glands, which produce milk to feed babies.
This article focus on women's tits, but it should be noted that men has also breasts, which, even though less prominent, have identical structures compared to female ones. This is because they develop from the same kind of tissues when in embryo stage.
So, all men have rests of mammary tissue. On the other hand, there is a patological development of large mammary glands in males called gynecomastia. Tits are secondary sexual characteristics and they are sexually sensible.
When watching bare tits, sexual desire can be lead on both men and women. As tits are related to sex, in lots of cultures a bare chest is considered rude and indecent and it's not usual to show them in public, on the contrary of men's breasts. Other cultures accept bare chests, and even in some countries it's not forbidden for women to not cover their tits. Opinions about the exposure of tits usually depend on place and environment. For example, even though in some Western societies is common to see nude women on the beach, to walk naked downtown is not considered appropiate.
